Starting the morning off with Mia's Style File

Started getting ready this morning at about 8 am to model nails for CW 39. Although it's just my nails I am super stoked to get this day started!

We hosted today's 'Style File' segment at Bliss Nail Spa. With Mia Gradney being the host, I know it's going to be super chic and lavish.

How to dress? I throw on a shoulder hugging black top under a high wasted BCBG Max Azria gray waste skirt. I am hoping that I'm dressed posh enough and being silly about it because only my nails will be shown. Ah well, to be in the presence of Mia I must be dressed to the t! ;)

Bliss Nail Spa was exactly what I was expecting, it was actually better than what I was expecting. I walk in and the entry way is so welcoming & open. Awesome blue hues with white accents this place is chic alright.

To my right sits the receptionist who greets me as soon as I walk in. Beside her lies long shelves full of so many different polishes I don't even know where to start. The recceptionist walks me over to their new collection of O.P.I. Espana collection. Next to newest considering there is a new line from the Alice in Wonderland movie that OPI now carries.

We choose a berry color that I am completely satisfied with. "Have you ever been here before?" she asks. "No, but I love it!" I reply. So she gives me a mini tour of the rest of the nail bar. Now, a nail bar? That's a new concept! How cute! They actually have a bar set up in the entry way complete with cute little martini glasses. They also hosts Mimosa Sundays to treat your self while you get your mani & pedi. Which I may add they have a mani & pedi special for $55 which is amazing for the city of Houston. It's hard to find good deals like that!

While I'm getting my manicure Shannon comes in with the camera. It's literally 5 inches from my hands as she's experimenting with different angles & shooting different depths. The girl who's doing my nails gets camera shy & knicks my cuticle & gets embarrased for doing so. She's done an amazing job with my nails though & keeping a smile while the camera's on!

Mia continues to interview Paulina of Bliss Nail Spa while my nails are still drying. We all get into a shot where we're holding our martinis (all in different colors) & cheers the camera.

It's been a wonderful start to a day out with Bliss Nail Spa & Mia's Style File! They've been great & I'm loving my new nail color!
