With my traveling at fresh start this summer I'm sure to have all the essentials at hand! So what's in my bag? Here's the necessities that every girl should consider to ensure a comfortable jet setting haven!

My Dreamie Travel Kit that I purchased in December ended up being one of the best purchases I have ever made for my travels! A lovely kit and and absolutely wonderful for my 12 hour flight! I did not wake up with a crick in my neck, and the booties were fantastically comfortable! I love it!

My Companion in Flight: A Good Read



You can only watch so many movies on your flight until you realized you watched them all and you've still got 3 hours to go until your destination, and nothing else to do. Snuggle up with the perfect companion: a good book! I just finished To Dance with Kings & Water for Elephants. With nothing left I did not know what to choose for the flight. When I didn't have anything else at hand Barbara Bush gifted me with Ape House by Sara Gruen during her Celebration of Reading benfiting The Barbara Bush Foundation for Family Literacy. Perfect for the final hours of my flight thanks to the former First Lady and Sara Gruen for a great read!

Research the Destination of Travel

Although I am very much of a free bird when it comes to traveling - finding my own way around, discovering places to shop and eat as I come by them, I still like to do a little research upon reaching my destination. Getting the locals take on the latest news, the 'hip' places listed to shop, dine, & visit. Although I get their view on the trendy spots I still like to find my own. Upon arrival in Italy I grabbed a recent issue of a Venice piece published by Departures Magazine.
