Fall Decor | Halloween Feature

It is one thing to hit the dollar spot at Target when needing decor for Halloween, there is no shame in that to tell you the truth and more power to you! The dollar spot is absolutely great for the 'fillers' you need decorating all through the house. But here's the thing you have to throw most of your decor away - plastic bowls, streamers, confetti, most are good for one use. Save some of the plastic bats you got out of the dollar section but here's an even better idea: buy 1 or 2 really good items that you can save in containers to pull out each year. Think big! Big items that you can pull out each year to be your staple pieces. For example a huge hanging skeleton from the ceiling or something sweet like a big pumpkin.

Here's an even better idea: Thad's. I went for a little staycation in Houston in Old Town Spring. Every year I end up at Thad's. He has an amazing atmosphere that makes you want to roam around his store for hours.

Thad's Halloween decor is marvelous! You have to stop in! Cutesy pumpkins conceal their faces with Venetian inspired mask, witches fly around the store with their brooms in hand, & voltures secure the store as they watch each customer carefully while viewing items. Haven't seen them yet? Stop into the store as items start at $30 but they are all together special and can be reused every year. They are awesome to say the least and make for a super chic Halloween!
