THE SWEET HUE OF BLUE

Electric blue has worked its way into the color scheme this summer. It’s a lovely color to add into your wardrobe along with corals, oranges, yellows, and the brights that are in this season.

Badgley Mischka brings out a new line of Mark + James. The cruise collection from Mark + James looks absolutely lovely. The pieces are chic and easy to throw on. Look 18 of the Mark + James collection is the exact blue that is perfect to incorporate into your summer apparel.

The neckline of the dress is fun and whimsical. Pair it with your favorite wedges, pop your hair up in a bun and just add sunglasses. The feel of this dress is so casually chic. This dress is also amazing for traveling.

Anthropologie Fashion Show

Anthropologie hosted a fashion show premiering the top trends in store for the spring and summer season.

The current trend of bold colors combined with patterns and different material textures made an appearance on the runway.

Guests were treated to champagne and macaroons while browsing the store for the looks that hit the runway. Stylist catered to those who attended with complimentary stylings.

My favorite accessory from the show? The Baripada necklace; a bold combination of bright yellows, orange and coral-beaded strands, which are covered in a fabric that makes a lovely combination. This is perfect over a solid shirt and jeans, or topped over a dress for a night out.

My favorite flavor this week! 

Behind the Seams | Mirror|Mirror

It is late August and I slowly unload all of the apparel to get ready for my first official shoot this morning. (Exciting!) My models Whitney and Ashley are early risers with me as we greet the shop owner Natalie Dawley of Two Be Wed at the door. I arrange the models and get ready to shoot my first official fashion segment for Flavor of the Week! My new business All Ze Details is literally the back bone of my styling but Flavor of the Week is the fashion column I have going for All Ze Details in which it entails how to dress, update your fashion, and how to dress up certain apparel. In which this segment of Mirror Mirror we are focusing on the consummate classic hemline. Natalie is a sweetheart and offers her space with open arms for this mornings shoot featured at Recollection Two Be Wed studio, which is lovely and vintage in every way. Brides feature their bridal photoshoots here at the studio during their 'Sitting Pretty' sessions. I don't blame them for having this as a top choice for their bridals it is absolutely darling! Which is exactly why we are shooting here today for Mirror Mirror.

Rebecca Spera arrives in which this will be the first time that I have offcially met her although we have always brushed elbows at the same events. This will be fun to work with her! She is so charismatic and bubbly in the morning it's hard not to rub off of her energy!

This is a fantastic piece as there are several ways, as mentioned in the segment, to get this look! How to dress it up, rock it out, touch base with your ultra feminine side - it all really is classicly chic with the consummate hemline!

Diary of a travel junkie

Traveling makes it hard to choose the right apparel but for any travel junkie one would know that Anthropologie is a one stop shop.

En route to your destination comfortable apparel is a must. Anthropolgie has comfortable apparel in store. Look for comfortable sweat pants that usually have a feminine touch to give your attire a little 'umph' whether you'll be sleeping or just keeping cool & casual while in flight. Trousers are BIG right now! They're amazing with everything. Solid tees tucked in to never ending legs and high waisted flawlessness creating the vision of a smaller waist and putting the typical sailor trousers to shame. You have to get your hands on a pair this season. Take them traveling and enjoy them at home. Give them a casual sway on the weekends and a dressy swagger at work from 9-5. Anthropologie has a plethora of trousers this season. 

Leifsdottir has an absolutely stunning pair of trousers. Beige in color the neutral matches perfectly with everything. Pair it with a solid navy tank or short sleeve v-neck for a casual affect and adorn with gold jewelry.
