No wonder it’s all the rave! With a hot cast, daring costumes and a great soundtrack Alice in Wonderland has taken viewers by storm. I will venture into Alice inspired looks, eye shadow inspired by the movie that’ll drive you mad if you don’t have, and a soundtrack that’s creatively fashion forward.

Gear up for a look into Wonderland.

Lust:
Colleen Atwood, Oscar winner for best costume design, designed the costumes for Alice in Wonderland. For a fun feel and a new spin to Alice’s clothes Atwood made the movie ravishingly fun with looks that were daringly fashion forward throughout the movie. I had my eyes peeled as “Drink Me’s” and “Eat Me’s” came along I was ready to see another one of Atwood’s dresses. The costume design is remarkable and I am ready to see Alice’s dresses up on the market.

Must:
After seeing Colleen Atwood’s designs in Wonderland I wanted to get my hands on something Alice inspired now. Avril Lavigne collaborated with Disney on her Abbey Dawn line featured at Kohl’s and pulled together looks completely inspired by the movie. The line is versatile and can be made into a girly, casual, dressy, or edgy look. These pieces can be mixed and matched and that’s what I love about it! I am always seeking out beauty products fit for a queen! These are a few that I have tested and now I use them on a weekly basis! Although I fell in love with most of the products that I have tried, these are the few that stuck out in my mind that I wanted to share! These products will vamp your roots, volumize, and hold your hair for hours. Don’t hesistate to grab these products while you’re out shopping!

Speaking of queens and your highness, TIGI has revamped their Catwalk line. They have changed the line’s color from blue to purple to distinguish the difference between their products. The purple pops and sticks out but for customer’s who have used the product for years might have a hard time finding it because of the color change. For those who haven’t used the Catwalk line yet, you are in for a real treat! Not getting the volume you want for your hair? Having a dull time with the styles you try? There’s a little trick to give your hair the right kind of lovin! Spray in Catwalk’s “Your Highness” the brand new and revamped root boosting spray which used to simply be called “Root Boost”. I’m liking the new name and I’m still loving the product! Give it a try on your hair, promise, you’ll love it!



TIGI has another line that I am absolutely head over heels for, well, at least for the Rockaholic hairspray. I put it to the test and this hairspray really does hold all day. Even my lazy curls stay intact til the end of the day. Great to spray on before you go out, even on straight hair. Don’t let the Texas humidity get to you save yourself, and your hair frizz to the Rockaholic hairspray.



Also, check out the exclusive Urban Decay Alice in Wonderland ‘Book of Shadows’ shadow swatch kit. Life is BeachySpring is in the air and bathing suits are on the rise! Good bye winter and hello golden skin, sun rays and lovely swim attire! Victoria’s Secret now has bathing suits on the floor; Betsey Johnson is having a fabulous sale on swim wear at the Houston Galleria, and is introducing a retro chic swim line too cool for school.

Fun bathing suits make me think that spring break couldn’t come any sooner!! We’re ready for you summer, and you’ve got us knocking at your door. For now, spring break will have to do! It’s the perfect weather and we’re well aware that the temperature is rising not only outside but in all the swim ad campaigns from Victoria’s Secret to Betsey Johnson. We’re ready to get our hands on the swim wear to make our spring break oh-so lovely!

Must:
Target has an array of bathing suits already set out for the warm Texas spring. It’s not uncommon to lay out mid March to start working on that tan! Target’s swim wear is fun, sleek, & chic depending on what brand you go with but it definitely doesn’t hurt the wallet to get a few bathing suits. Use the different tops and bottoms to mix and match to make more of what you have.

Victoria’s Secret bathing suit apparel is definitely a must! There isn’t one girl who wouldn’t like to get their hands on the Victoria’s Secret catalog as summer approaches. It may well be our favorite part of the season just to show off what bathing suits we purchased at VS. 500 new suits are just in for this summer! Check out the website to find your perfect match!

Welcome to Betseyville!! Betsey Johnson has playful colors on the bikinis available on the floor at the Houston Galleria. What’s even more appealing about these little beauties? They’re on sale! Catch the sale while you can to get your little paws on these fun suits!

Beauty Products of the Week:
Icon from Benefit is an eye product that is perfect for the mornings. You wake up with puffy eyes after no sleep. What gives? Squeeze a little drop on your finger, no bigger than the size of your finger tip, and dab around your eyes (top & bottom). Remember to always use your ring finger (which is the weakest finger on your hand) to dab around the eyes. Wall-ah!! The cream works in seconds to give you a quick lift! Love is in the air as BCBG Max Azria embraces this February with plenty of love to go around. Love for pink hues and rich reds, BCBG celebrates the movie ‘Valentine’s Day’ with looks inspired by the characters of the motion picture set to premiere February 12.

All you need is love.

Neiman Marcus has an array of goodies for Valentine’s Day and apparel you can use again to wear on into the spring. Try some of Neiman Marcus’ romantic apparel and blouses like the DKNY ‘Lips-printed halter top’, the Lilly Pulitzer ‘Cedar-print tank’, or the Nanette Lepore ‘Grandeur top’. All 3 picks look lovely topped with a waist belt and dark denim or a high waisted skirt. Va-va vamp your Valentine’s up with these ultra-glamour loungy tops.

Lip Service
Now before you run out the door add some color to those lips! Dior has an amazing lip line this spring: Dior Addict lip color. The color lasts all night and dresses up any outfit. My favorite color happens to be Hollywood Rose. Try topping it off with Dior’s Addict Ultra Gloss Reflect
in the Fuschia Poplin to add a glossy pop to your lips.

Benefit is one of the leading brands on my list right now. Their product ‘Bad-Gal Lash’ gives you an instant look to false lashes. Your lashes are instantly thickened, lengthened, and va-va-vamped! This is a must to add into your make-up bag! Available at the Benefit booth in Macy’s!

While I’m stuck on Benefit I will also throw out their ‘Posie-tint’. Made to use for cheek and lip stain. I must say it is now a necessity for my lips before I step out. Use it for the bottom layer before applying your lip gloss. Apply the ‘Posie-tint’ first and let it dry. Don’t smudge or press your lips together before it has finished drying. Once it’s done drying smudge a little of your favorite lip-gloss on right over it. It acts as a foundation for your lip-gloss and mine last all night!

Looking for a at home facial mask? M.A.C.’s ‘Volcano Mask’ is simply ingenious! It is the best at home mask that I have used in a while!

I have this song on replay. I love Train’s new sound and how it makes me feel. This song instantly gets me in the happiest mood. A must for this weekend and the best song to add to your road trip playlist. Makes me want to put my feet up on the dash and cruise along. Enjoy their new sound! I must say, it’s a great listen to start off your week!
