Houston Welcomes Kenny Chesney to Discovery Green

Tour busses aligned the back of Discovery Green as Uncle Kracker, Kid Rock, Pat Green, & Kenny Chesney graced the stage for Sunday's Capital One show for the Final Four.

Fans gather around the stage to claim their spots after Uncle Kracker wraps up & Pat Green takes the stage. Next up, Kenny Chesney. The main act that everyone's been waiting for. You would think Houstonians would be done with rodeo fever after the rodeo wrapped up in March, not the case with KC in town.

Kenny Chesney played an amazing show Sunday night at Discovery Green! Although attendees had to wake up early morning Monday to start the work week, it made no difference. Everyone came out and had a great time. Kenny played hits like 'I Go Back', 'Sweet Summertime', & everyone went crazy on his new hit 'Somewhere with You' from his new release Hemingway's Whiskey.

The Capital One sound booth, the Houston skyline, & the cloudy weather made a perfect pairing for this photo op.

A view of the 'Sweet Summertime' set. I wish that we could have been on scene for the video! Gorgeous beaches. Kenny, you should invite us all next time!

People two stepped in the crowd soaking up every word of 'We Went Out Last Night' and girls jumped on the shoulders of their friends trying to catch a glimpse of Kenny on stage loving every tune of twang he belted out. Texans love country boys!
